Latest Message 1 year, 4 months ago- RobK : Ok, 3rd component of the series up and posted. Will be on a trip over these next coming weeks... not sure how much writing I can fit in or not... check back soon.
- RobK : My next article is "Allow God to be God to Us" as the 3rd component of the series.
- RobK : Back Again -- started picking up the series about Core Basics to Small Group Ministry.
- RobK : We inserted a good article on Giving Away God's Love. I'll return to the series on Core Basics of Small Group Ministry within a week.
- RobK : Ok... got it fixed... it was a little bug in the footnotes script that we use here. One too many spaces shuts down the whole blog... Well, I started this second part in Italy and finished it in Germany. Read it slow - Digest it... working on part 3
- RobK : I'm working out a memory bug for posting the 2nd part of our series... hope to have that up and working this weekend. The second part is ready to go.
- RobK : Sorry about the long delay in posting. The ministry has really needed our special attention in these last months. We now have some more assistance in the work and can return to providing regular content as the Lord gives it.
- RobK : Lightning strike knocked out our entire office for weeks... it's been a slow recovery... sorry for the delays on VG and to sweeten my apologies, I present you with a new Bon-Bon.
- RobK : Great point Kathleen. I don't believe Christians can truly live-out the will of God outside of His Church (His people; His community). Looking forward to your visit in January.
- KaOnMc : My small group is just finishing up the Experiencing God series by Henry Blackaby, and it is amazing to see how at the beginning it was about YOU living out the will of God, but it finishes with you, as apart of the CHURCH, living out the will of God. As Christians, we must truly take Romans 12:5 seriously. Jesus is apart of the church, as is each believer. Livign out "True Christian Community" is not an option. But it is not to be thought of as a painful command either. But as a gift.
- RobK : Been swamped with ministry and missions work... sorry for the delay in posting... wife is gone with the kids for a month... just trying to keep the dog alive.
- RobK : You know, "Christian & Single" is an oxymoron.
- RobK : Community is not optional for serious churches.

- guest_1724 : I couldn't agree with you more about techology having taken over our Christian culture. I have seen the devestation. We have chosen to delete the TV and occasionally watch an old movie. Frees up a lot of time and energy for the things that matter.
